Celebrating ArtQuest: A Juried Student Exhibition

Highlights the work of the various Art disciplines in the ArtQuest program. This award-winning program is offered at Santa Rosa High for students for whom creativity and artistic expression is of paramount importance. ArtQuest offers seven Arts disciplines daily, including Digital Arts, Photography, Video and Visual Fine Arts. Dance, Theatre Arts and Vocal and Instrumental Music are offered in the Performing Arts. The curriculum is organized around both the California Content Standards in the Arts and the California Visual and Performing Arts Framework, incorporating the five components of Arts Education: Artistic Perception, Creative Expression, Historical and Cultural Context, Aesthetic Valuing and Connections/Relationships/Applications. The exhibition was selected by a jury of local artists and professionals with the goal of highlighting the excellence and diversity of expression among the ArtQuest students.
